SHIPPING AND DELIVERY 

Stock and Backorders  

  • Frontier Racks are 100% designed and assembled in the 49th State (Alaska, USA), with components sourced from Alaska and the Lower 48.   
  • We strive to estimate demand, but there may be times when demand exceeds estimates, causing backorders.  
  • In-stock racks take up to 4 business days to prepare for pick-up or shipping.  
  • Backordered racks take up to 11 business days to arrive, plus additional time required for shipping to the customer.  

Delivery and Pickup Options  

  • Free Local Pickup is available.  
  • Free Local Delivery is available for a limited time only within 20 miles of Anchorage, Alaska. E.g. Anchorage, Eagle River, and Indian Valley.  
  • Free Local Pickup and Local Delivery racks are fully-assembled.  
  • Racks shipped via your selected mail currier arrive disassembled, and require assembly. Assembly instructions are included with each purchase.    
  • Some racks may be shipped in recycled packaging.  

Returns and Refunds 

  • Returns can be initiated within 15 days of the delivery of the product to the customer.  
  • The product cannot be returned if damaged or modified.  
  • The product must be adequately protected for return shipping to prevent damage during shipping.  
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping cost.  
  • The customer will be refunded the amount they paid for the product, minus the cost of return shipping, if Frontier arranged the return shipping. 

WARRANTY AND CRASH POLICY 

  • Stuff happens when we play outside - we want to do the right thing and help when possible.

Crash Replacement Discount 

  • At our discretion, a substantial crash replacement discount may be provided to the customer, if they have broken equipment outside of expected uses.  
  • All claims must be emailed to [email protected], and include your order number, name, date of purchase, model, high quality photos of the issue, and a description of the issue and cause.   
2 Year Limited Warranty 
  • A two (2) year limited warranty is available to the original purchaser of the product, starting on the original date of purchase. 
  • Under the two (2) year limited warranty, we will provide the replacement of the specific metal rack component which is damaged past useable condition, in normal and expected use of the product.  


Warranty Examples

  1. Jenna noticed a crack near the end of year 2 of using the rack, and is the original purchaser. She emailed us photos and a description of the issue. We provided free replacement part and shipping.
  2. Lulu bought the rack 1 month ago, is a new rider, lost control of her sled, and it ran away off a cliff, which bent some parts. She emailed us photos and a description of the issue. She paid for at-cost replacement parts and shipping.
  3. Sally bought the rack 2nd-hand, 5 years ago. She lost control in hard-snow conditions, the sled rolled 15 times, bending some parts. She emailed us photos and a description of the issue. She got a deep discount on replacement parts and shipping.
  4. Bob bought the rack 2nd-hand, 1 month ago, but left it outside on their sled overnight in Bozeman, and it was stolen. Bob was offered a discount on a new rack, and paid for shipping.

Covered Uses versus Non-covered Uses 

  • Examples of normal and expected uses covered within the two (2) year limited warranty: 1) Riding up, down, and across slopes of varying steepness within the operators abilities, with equipment correctly strapped to the rack, and rack correctly fixed to the machine. 2) Riding variable snow conditions and slopes within the operators ability, with equipment correctly strapped to the rack, and rack correctly fixed to the machine. 3) Rolling the machine slowly with help, in a controlled manner in soft powder to correct machine position and direction, with riding equipment removed from the rack. 4) Properly and accurately loading and unloading riding equipment on the rack. 5) Tightening hardware to the correct torque, re-torquing hardware after first use, and checking hardware tightness before every ride.  
  • Examples of uses NOT covered within the two (2) year limited warranty: 1) Crashing into any obstacle, such as trees, rocks, cornices, crevasses, ice, vehicles, bodies of water, etc. 2) Damage due to any stunts other than riding in a controlled manner for the purpose of sled accessed riding, such as wheelies, bowties, re-entries, drops, jumps, whips, flips, etc. 3) Losing control of the sled during "ghost riding," resulting in crash damage. 4) Damage caused to riding equipment due to rolling the machine in hard snow conditions with riding equipment still attached. 5) Losing control of the machine on steep slopes, in variable terrain or snow conditions. 6) Riding outside of operator abilities, resulting in crash damage. 7) Damage to riding equipment due to not removing equipment during sled rollovers. 8) Theft or loss of the product. 9) Rack hardware, bolts and nuts not being periodically checked and re-torqued. 10) Unsafe machine operation in parking lots, and impacts with other vehicles and obstacles during machine loading and unloading. 11) UV damage, corrosion due to the rack being left on the machine outside during the off-season. 12) Damage due to avalanches. 13) Surface scratches. 14) Using the rack to physically reposition or move the machine such as towing, pushing, pulling, rolling - the machine should be repositioned using the OEM components such as bumpers, ski-loops, tunnel, A-arms, handlebars, etc. 15) Loss of the rack due to not properly tightening the tunnel fixture accessories, such as Skidoo Linqs, or Polaris Lock-n-Ride Anchors.  
  • Other exclusions: 1) Scratches or wear and tear to the rack and your riding equipment during sled rollovers and vibrations during normal machine riding operations over time will not be covered. 2) Remove riding equipment during machine rollovers in all conditions to eliminate the chance of damage during rollovers. 3) If ski / heli / utility straps were included with your purchase, follow the same claim notification process to file a claim. 4) Damage to Skidoo, Polaris and other manufacturer products is not included within the scope of this warranty. Support should be sought with your dealer or supplier.
